My Own Books

Alphabet Series

Looking for some new and original stories to help your child learn the letters and sounds of the alphabet?

The Alphabet Series from the My Own Books Collection are just right!

Each book features your student or child on a field trip with Teacher or Parent to find things that begin with each letter of the alphabet. In each story, the child creates a page in Pictionary of words they have learned.

What a wonderful way to introduce the Alphabet and beginning sounds!!

Books can be read on the screen or printed and made into a booklet.

The book page also includes a button to create Learning Cards that feature the pictures and words in the story.

For some stories, there is also a link to the Game for the pictures and words in the story.

    My Own Pictionary

Pictionary pages feature two words with spaces for a picture, definition and sentence for each word.

The Pictionary can be a started with one page per letter. Add additional pages for letters that yield many words.

It is a good idea to put the Pictionary in a ring binder so it can be expanded as desired.
