Ham Slice With Red Eye Gravy

For generations, I'm told, Southerners have started a cold morning hunt this way.

Serves 2



Heat the ham slices in a heavy skillet.

Remove them from the skillet and place them on warm plates with the biscuits.

Add the coffee and bourbon to the skillet stirring to remove all the bits in the pan. 

Bring to a boil and reduce slightly. Gravy will still be very thin.

Pour the gravy over the ham and biscuits.
