Pemberton Cookbook


Use ground beef or thinly sliced steak. Plain yoghurt instead of sour cream is easy on calories and cholesterol.

Serves 4-6



Cook the noodles in large pot of salted water. Drain.

In a skillet, brown the garlic, onion and crumbled beef in the oil. Add the flour, salt, paprika, and mushroom, stir, and let it cook five minutes.

Add the soup. Cook another ten minutes. Turn heat low.

Add yoghurt, blending it gently into the meat mixture until heated through.

Pour meat sauce over noodles on plates or a platter.

Garnish with chopped parsley.
