Taai Taai

Dutch Gingerbreads, mostly eaten around December 5th celebrations.




Mix honey with egg.

Add flour, baking power and spice.

Knead this into a supple dough

Allow the dough to rest for at least 12 hours.

Roll the dough between two greased sheets of baking paper, to 1 cm thickness.

Cut out shapes.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 200 degrees in a preheated oven.
