Happy Birthday, America!
 On
July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia, the first American Patriots
presented the thirteen colonies with a Declaration of Independence from Britain.
This historic document listed the grievances the colonies had with its mother
country, and spelled out the reasons they felt entitled them to their own
government - a government of their choosing! On this date, the United States
of America was born!! Bells pealed all over the city!! |

The Star-Spangled Banner is the National Anthem for the United States of
America. It is played by bands and orchestra and sung by Americans on
this holiday |

America the Beautiful is another favorite patriotic song sung on this holiday
to celebrate the beauty and rich resources of the United States of America
from sea to shining sea. |
