	Books - Purchase or print these books including new stories and classics cherished over the ages.
	Learning Words: Resources including interactive games, Bingo games, worksheets, printable word cards and pages to make a pictionary for learning words
	Vocabulary Resources - Vocabulary lists, spelling lists and commonly mis-spelled word lists along with activities to learn new words.
	Stories are the starting point for learning to read. The Story resources include graded stories, personalized stories, Famous Americans, animated stories, selections in children's literature, and more.
	Tarheel Readers are multi-media stories created in North Carolina for beginning readers.

	My Own Books is a collection of stories that can be printed into small books. The stories are personalized to the reader for maximum comprehension and involvement in the story. These books include stories about learning the alphabet, learning about history, geography and government, folktales and more.
	The Poetry Site contains a collection of poems for learning the alphabet, events in history, songs with interesting lyrics, and poems studied in literature. The poetry on the site includes selections for students from pre-K to 12.
	Literature: This site features reading lists in various genres of literature for grades K through 12. At present it includes reading lists for Children's Lit, Science Fiction, History, and Mythology. More reading lists are planned.
