Worried Turkey

Happy Thanksgiving

Around the world, many people celebrate the end of the harvest season with a feast to give thanks for the harvest. In the United States, the early settlers celebrated their first harvest with their neighbors, the friendly Native Americans. Abraham Lincoln made the last Thursday in November the American Thanksgiving Holiday in memory of that First Thanksgiving. Franklin D. Roosevelt changed the date to the fourth Thursday in November.
