The summer is winding down. Some of you are already back in school, and the rest will be there soon. Educational Synthesis is now housed on a new server hosted by Enabling Support Foundation. There is no change in accessing the site, but when you visit, you may find that some things are in new places and the organization is a bit different. I'm trying to make the site sustainable and able to grow more easily. If there is something you can't find, just email me at apembert@erols.com and I'll let you know where to find it. Don't forget to update your bookmarks.
David Ollin Tullis, the publisher of Rooftop Rescue, The High Adventures of Sara the Pineapple Cat has announced a 20% discount to Educational Synthesis users. See the above link for the code to add to the order form. You can use the discount on any of the first three books of the Sara The Pineapple Cat series. |

Rummaging in the attic (searching old zip disks and CD's) resulted in some interesting new additions for the Language Arts section of the website. See below for specifics: |

A new Game is now available on the Alphabet link. The C-Game has been added. |

Word and picture cards can now be printed from two of the Alphabet Stories: Find A Things and Find B Things. I will be adding them to the rest as I can. |

Language Potpourri is a new index in the Language Arts section of the website for things that do not fit in other categories. New are blasts from the 1990's when the Internet was just beginning. Signs of the 90's features two printable signs from that time, and The Roadkill Cafe Menu on the Information Superhighway is a delightful discovery of the technology words of that time. Also, a new story, an allegory entitled The DOSfish about the history of computer operating systems and the beginning of the Internet. |

Famous Americans has a new resident! Alice Paul was a suffragette who worked to see the 19th amendment passed, and then began working for the ERA. I've also done a major update on Famous Americans and moved Pocahontas to the main section. Plus, I've moved the color pictures into the main section. |

Curriculum is a new section on Ed Synth this month. I've moved the SOLs, TEKS, and state standards from California, Massachusetts and New York under this subdirectory. Hopefully, by next month, there will be a start on a new curriculum, SKYHI, which will combine the best of the best and include links to content for each objective. |

Science has been re-organized, and two new sections separated out for Weather and for Nutrition. More links will be added in the coming weeks. Biology has also been updated, and the links for the coloring pages for plants and animals are on: Color, and Chemistry, Earth Science and Space Science are updated. |
Long Live Lively Learning, Y'all!!!
