Tamanend: The new addition this month to Famous Americans is the Native American Tamanend (Tammany), who is said to be the friendly and helpful Lenni Lenape Indian who made the first treaty with William Penn. Clubs, parks, buildings, and and holidays have been dedicted to Chief Tamanend or Saint Tammany. |

New additions this month include the expansion of the Compare Worksheet Maker to include user choices of shape, largest number, and worksheets that ask the student to compare sets of shapes to sets of shapes, sets to numbers or numbers words, and numbers or to number words to numbers or number words. Chart Maker: A New Resources for the Hundred Chart. Table Maker is a new resource for the Addition Table and Multiplication table . This page allows the user to choose to print a completed chart, a blank chart of a worksheet which presents the chosen chart with about one-third of the cells blank to be completed by the student. In addition to learning counting, adding and multiplying skills, students are learning the value of patterns. This worksheet is listed on the indexes for Numbers, Algebra, and Calculation. |

Investigating Systems is a new curriculum developed by Marion and Howard Brady. It is still under development, and the authors invite comments and suggestions. It is a low-tech curriculum intended for adolescents and young adults. The Brady brothers are NOT affiliated with Educational Synthesis. Their curriculum is included in our general study of various curricula. |
