Make a directory of the men and women who represent you in Congress. Get to know those who represent you in the Legislative Branch of the Federal Government.
Use the following links to find our who your two senators and one representative are:
Step 1: Search the Internet to locate information on each of the above.
Step 2: Use cut and paste from your information sources to create a page on each person. The page should include the following information:
Step 2: Choose the representative who most impresses you.
Step 3: Write an Introduction to your booklet about your choice. It should be a half to a whole page in length.
Step 4: E-mail your introduction to your teacher as an attachment. Send a copy to yourself. Ask for help if needed.
Step 5: Make an illustrated cover sheet for your booklet
Step 6: E-mail the pages and cover page to yourself as an attachment.
Step 7: Print out the booklet, including Introduction, at home or in the library.
Step 8: Staple your booklet, put in plastic cover, and submit for grading.
Step 9: Save your Congressional Directory in your Government notebook.
